A New Blog for a New Game

Hello all, and welcome to my new blog. As you can tell by my statement this is not my first blog. My previous blog, 2 Cents on 40k, was dedicated to Warhammer 40k and I didn't feel right renaming it and just changing the subject matter. So here we are, a blog dedicated to World War 2, Bolt Action the game, and making your gaming table look great with nice terrain!

First a little about myself... I have been playing and collecting Bolt Action for the last 2 years. Before that I have and still do on occasion play Warhammer 40k. I live in Northwest Iowa, so I am limited on stores nearby and it can make finding people to play against hard. I joined the Warlord Sarge program last year since I knew I would have to promote Bolt Action if I want people to play against. Today we have a growing Bolt Action community in the Lincoln, Omaha, Sioux City areas that's to the hard work of several people and stores.

I have a couple of good size armies which I will be doing a feature on each in the upcoming weeks. I will also do features on themed gaming tables and center piece pieces of terrain in my collect and of some in my small gaming group of friends. I believe it is just as important to spend time and money on your terrain. Nothing gets people's attention faster than a great looking table.

I like to run events at local conventions like Tri-Con, and Con of the North in Minneapolis. I have recently taken on the responsibility of running the Bolt Action tournament at the Bugeater GT in Omaha, NB June 12-13th.

So enough about me, let's get on with the blogging!

.......what's Operation SIGSALY you ask? It was the operation given to the secure speech program used for the highest priority messages for the Allies in ww2. Hopefully the blog will live up to it's name!
